College of Science, NSYSU, and Faculty of Bioresource Sciences, Akita Prefectural University signed the MOU on 2023/12/20.

The MOU was signed by Dean Ming-jung Wu and  Dean Shigenobu Nakazawa.

Akita Prefectural University was established in 1999, to cultivate new generation talents for the continued development of Akita ken.

There are currently 278 faculty, Akita Prefectural University aims to cultivate Science and Technology talents.

The first contact with Akita Prefectural University was on 2019/12/8 when Prof. Kenji Sakurai visited the Department of Biological Sciences.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the signing originally scheduled in 2020 is delayed to July 2023.

Dean Ming-Jung Wu, Vice Dean Yu-Chung Chiang, and Head Jyh-Tsung Lee went to Japan and signed an MOU with the Faculty of Bioresource Sciences, Akita Prefectural University.
